Back to work...

We had a great time relaxing during our time off. After Christmas we came home and played with all the new toys, drank lots of hot chocolate and eggnog and watched movies. We had Brad and Kendra over for a "mini-Thanksgiving". I tried a new turkey recipe and it turned out great. Later that night we were hit by some strong winds. We couldn't sleep all night because it was so loud. When it became light out we saw our shingles all over the backyard. (Actually as I type, Mike and a friend are on our roof replacing shingles in the cold).
For new years we went over to Kendra's family's house. We played Wii which was a lot of fun. Brad and Kendra left New Years Day for Texas. We miss them already.
Yesterday we went to Estes Park. We had lunch at a little hamburger grill and went to Starbucks where we had coffee and hot chocolate. Haven drank a tall size all by himself and was shaking the rest of the day. hehe.
We loved having time off. In fact Mike and I have never had this much time off since we've been married! That's 7 years! Now it's time to get back to real life....and taking down the Christmas tree.
